Zendo with bridge, path, fog, BW

Entsu-an is a Buddhist community centered in Bainbridge Island, Washington.  Our practice of Rinzai Zen in the Myoshin-ji lineage was introduced to the United States in 1962 by Zen Master Kyozan Joshu Sasaki.    Together with incorporating as a nonprofit  group in the State of Washington, the Bainbridge Zendo was built in 1995.  Leaders of our sangha are Shozan (Dr. Marc Joslyn , ordained as a Zen priest and teacher in 1982) and his wife Myodo (Hajnalka Joslyn).

If you wish to join us or are curious to know more about our activities, please contact us. We will be happy to give you directions and arrange a time for introductory instruction.   We can be contacted by e-mail at entsuji@gmail.com, by fax or phone at 206-842-8400, or by phone at 206-842-2828.
